What we do

Canadian Professional Academy is operated by VAFCO Beheer B.V. as an independent provider of online professional education. The curriculum is built around workplace-ready skills rather than theory-heavy content. Each program combines short lessons, structured exercises, and downloadable resources that can be reused in day-to-day work—things like meeting agendas, project plans, communication checklists, and productivity planners.

Our course topics cover business administration, workplace communication, leadership development, project management fundamentals, productivity and organization, and broader professional development. Learners use frameworks such as stakeholder mapping, action registers, and simple RACI-style role clarity to practice planning and coordination. For writing and communication, we focus on clarity, tone, and structure, including message hierarchy and audience-first formatting.

Delivery is entirely online and available throughout every province and territory in Canada. We provide education and learner support only. We do not provide consulting, financial services, legal services, accounting, investment services, recruitment or employment placement, engineering, software development, or healthcare services.

Learner experience

Feedback focuses on learning quality, practical materials, and flexible online delivery. We do not publish claims about guaranteed employment, promotions, salary increases, or financial outcomes.

“The communication modules were straightforward and practical. The writing templates made it easier to structure updates and meeting notes in a consistent way, and the exercises felt realistic rather than academic.”

J

Jordan M.

Operations coordinator, Ontario

“I liked the structure: short lessons, then a concrete exercise, then a resource I could reuse. The project planning templates helped me keep tasks and decisions tidy, even for small internal projects.”

S

Samantha K.

Team lead, British Columbia

“The productivity program was methodical in a good way. It focused on planning routines and prioritization without hype. I appreciated that the guidance stayed within education and didn’t try to sell unrelated services.”

Mini case study: small business operations

Problem: A learner running a small services business needed a consistent way to manage requests, decisions, and follow-ups without adding heavy tools.

Approach: They used the Business Administration Fundamentals templates (intake checklist, action register, and a weekly review routine) and practiced clearer email structure from Workplace Communication.

Outcome: Better consistency in documentation and fewer dropped follow-ups over a month of internal tracking. Results vary by context, and outcomes are not guaranteed.

Mini case study: internal project coordination

Problem: A learner coordinating a cross-team internal initiative needed a simple planning cadence and clearer role clarity.

Approach: They applied a basic work breakdown, stakeholder notes, and a lightweight RACI-style responsibility mapping from Project Management Fundamentals.

Outcome: More predictable weekly check-ins and clearer ownership for tasks during the project timeline. Results vary and depend on team adoption.
